Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Gangtok & Leisure
Pick-up from Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP)
Scenic drive to Gangtok (Approx. 4-5 hours)
Check-in at the hotel and relax
Evening walk at MG Marg (Shopping & Dining)
Overnight stay at the hotel
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion
Breakfast at the hotel
After having a delicious authentic breakfast, you will take the road journey to the high altitude holy Tsomgo Lake, followed by Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir, a shrine honouring the Indian army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh.
To visit Nathula Pass, you have to inform us prior, as a permit is to be acquired per vehicle.
In the evening, you will head back to Gangtok. Make the best use of the free time to explore the nightlife and local area of Gangtok.
Day 3: Full Day Sightseen of Gangtok
Breakfast and vist the local sightseen of Gangtok
Visit top attractions: Tashi Viewpoint, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Bakthang Waterfalls, Rope Way, Banjhakri Falls, Directorate of Handicraft & Handloom (Sunday Closed), Explore Namgyal Institute of Tibetology & Flower Exhibition Centre.
Day 4 : Gangtok to Pelling
After breakfast, transfer to Pelling (6,250 Ft. / 132 Kms. / 5 Hrs.). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Pelling Full Day Sightseeing
Pelling full day sightseeing covering Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Palace Ruins, Darap Village, Rimbi Waterfall, Orange Garden, Khecheopalri Lake, and Kanchenjunga Waterfall. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Pelling to Darjeeling
Transfer to Darjeeling (75 Kms. / 4 Hrs.), the Queen of Hills. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a pre-booked, comfortable hotel for check-in. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 7 : Darjeeling Sightseeing with Tiger Hill
Approx Distance: 87 Kms | Estimated Travel Time: 8 hours
Early morning (4:00 AM), visit Tiger Hill (subject to availability of tokens; if not possible at sunrise, it will be covered during the day). Visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery, then return to the hotel. After breakfast, starting at 8:30 AM, visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed on Thursdays), Tenzing Rock, Ropeway (note: closed on the 19th of every month), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Temple (Peace Pagoda). Return to the hotel.
Evening free for shopping or leisure. You may go shopping and pick some tea and Tibetan artifacts. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Note: The Darjeeling ropeway has limited cabins (approximately 8, with 4 persons per cabin), leading to long queues due to high tourist volume. Please be patient with potential delays, as it may impact your schedule for other sightseeing activities.
Day 08 : Depaturer VIA MIRIK to Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station for departure
Transfer from Darjeeling to NJP. Approx Distance: 87 Kms | Estimated Travel Time: 3.5 hours. The tour ends at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport.
Optional: While traveling from Darjeeling to NJP, you can take a detour via Mirik excursions, which includes sightseeing at Lepcha Jagat Pine Forest, Semana Viewpoint, Pashupati Market (Nepal Border), Gopal Dhara Tea Garden, Mirik Lake, and Tingling Viewpoint before transferring to NJP.
