1.Tiger Hill: Observation Deck Tiger hill is the highest point in the Darjeeling area. An early morning trip to witness the sunrise is a must. Watching the rising sun strike the colossal Mt. 2.Batasia Loop: The heritage train makes a 360 degree turn at this gigantic railway loop almost 5 kilometre from town.Built to help the steam train negotiate the steep terrain. Batasia Loop is strategically located to offers a panoramic view of the mountain beyond.

3.Ghoom Monastery: Just below Ghoom railway station about 8 km, away from Darjeeling town Yiga Choling is the largest of Darjeeling's "Three Monastery". Built in 1875 by Lama Sherab Gyatso, its content images of Buddhist deities and lamas, such as Chen Rezig the buddhist of compassion and Tsongkhapa the founder of the Geluvpa Sect. The monastery also contains or huge 15_foot image of Jampeyang, the Buddha of the future. 4.Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park: Darjeeling Zoo is famous for the rare Red pandas, where one can see them in their natural habitat. 9.Japanese Peace Pagoda: The Japanese Peace Pagoda was established by followers of the Nipponzan Myohoji, a Japanese Buddhist order. The pagoda is the highest free- standing structure in town, and showcase the avatars of Buddha near the pagoda is the Nipponzan Myohoji Temple, which is built in a traditional Japanese style and offers visitors a place for peace and introspection. 10.Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre: The Tibetan Refugee Self Help Centre (TRSHC), located in Lebong and locally known as Hermitage, was founded on October 2, 1959. Zhu Dan established this centre in 1959 with funds raised through local charity (wife of Gyalo Thondup). Initially, the facility provided emergency relief to Tibetan refugees who had made the perilous journey across the Himalayas into India. 11.Japanese Temple: The Japanese Temple, also known as the Nipponzan Myohoji Buddhist Temple, was built by Japanese Buddhist monks in 1972. 12.Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: In addition to being one of the world's top mountaineering colleges, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute has drawn a lot of tourists because of its gorgeous location in Darjeeling, a hill station.
