Darjeeling to Chattakpur
Start your journey from Darjeeling and drive to Jorebungalow {apporx. 8 k. m ), the starting point of the trek.
Begin the hike along the Old Military Road, a scenic trail through dense forests of oak, pine, and birch.
Pass by Senchal Lake, a key water reservoir for Darjeeling, and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings.
Reach Chattakpur, a quaint eco-village at an altitude of 7,887 ft, after approximately 3.5 hours of trekking (13.4 km).
Explore the village, interact with locals, and enjoy the stunning views of the Kanchenjunga range.
Renturn back to Sonada, on the way you will have a local lunch at Sherpa Village.
After having lunch you have to hike atleast 20-25 munites till NATIONAL-HIGHWAY ROAD (NH10} and Car will pick up and drop off to Darjeeling.
